JOHN L. SNEDIGAR

Jack was born in Atlanta Georgia and grew up in Wichita Kansas. After serving in the Dental Corps of U. S. Navy during the Vietnam era he studied at the University of Tennessee and received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration in 1975. Prior to graduation he started a real estate and construction company. He moved to Greenville, SC in 1979 to go to work for a development and construction company where he learned the development business while managing the construction process. He managed everything from apartment conversions to condos to shopping center, office, and residential developments. In the early eighties he accepted a position with U. S. Shelter Corporation in the Commercial Construction Division. While with Shelter he was responsible for commercial construction projects in the Carolinas and Georgia until he was promoted to an Asset Management position. As an asset manager he was responsible for all aspects of ownership for numerous apartment complexes and other commercial properties across the southeast. He became the Senior Asset Manager and was responsible for 32,000 apartment units and over one million square feet of commercial property in six states. When Insignia Financial Group purchased the assets of U.S. Shelter Corporation Jack was retained as the Senior Asset Manager. He was an integral part of the team that carried out the acquisition strategy that grew the portfolio to over 320,000 apartment units and 5 million square feet of commercial space nationwide. Jack left Insignia Financial Group and joined Prudential Commercial Real Estate, C. Dan Joyner Co. in 1998 as a Real Estate Broker where he advanced from “Rookie of the Year” in 1998 to the “Chairman’s Circle Gold level in 2006. The Gold level represents the top 5% of Prudential agents nationwide. He was also a member of the Prudential Leading Edge Society and the President’s Circle. Jack is an avid golfer, water skier, and a supporter of The University of Tennessee and is Treasurer of the Upstate Chapter of the Alumni Association. He participates in numerous charity events each year. He lives in Greenville with his wife Kathy and has two grown sons, Scott & Todd both living in Greenville. Jack’s newest venture is the launch of Spectrum Commercial Properties with his long time friend and now partner Mark Kent. In addition to this commercial brokerage company, he also has started Spectrum Commercial Property Management and Spectrum Commercial Development. These companies will serve Kent’s company, Kent Worldwide Development, as well as third party clients.

 


ROBERT L. BRISSIE

A native of Greenville, SC, Rob has benefited from watching the area grow for many years and is enthusiastically applying his knowledge of the upstate to commercial real estate. He earned a B.S. degree in Business Management from Clemson University in 2003. Upon graduating, he began working with a financial institution in Greenville, SC where he served as an auditor as well as a litigation manager. During this time he gained extensive experience in business development, problem solving, and value added selling.

Rob started his commercial real estate career in July 2006. Since he began working in commercial real estate, he has represented buyers and sellers in various transactions, as well as, tenants and landlords in numerous office, retail, land, & warehouse leases. Rob also has experience working with a regional residential real estate developer as a land consultant in several of their communities. He is a CCIM Candidate and is actively working towards the CCIM designation.

Rob lives in Greenville with his wife Tanisha and their son Leland. In his spare time he enjoys playing Golf, watching Clemson Sports, and exercising. He also is a member of the Rotary Club of Greenville and regularly participates in many of their activities.

 

 


TOWERS RICE

Towers Rice is a Greenville native and has been involved in the Real Estate and Construction industry for the past twenty-four years. At an early age, he was taken to job sites by both his father and grandfather and introduced to every aspect of real estate development from an appreciation of land and community to the value of physical work and seeing a project through to completion. Because of this legacy, he has developed a strong love for the land and the desire to see it used and managed wisely.

Towers graduated from The Citadel in 1984 with a degree in Business Administration. Since graduation he has added to his education continually and currently holds a Commercial Brokers license in addition to his General Contractors license. He is a member of the Greater Greenville Association of Realtors Commercial and has been a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC). He is also a member of NAIOP which is a Forum for Commercial Real Estate. Additionally, he has begun taking CCIM classes (Certified Commercial Investment Member). He served on the Citizen Housing Committee for Greenville County. He is currently serving on the Advisory Committee for the Powdersville Water Company.  

Prior to joining Spectrum Commercial as an Associate Broker, he was affiliated with RealtyLink, LLC in project management, development, and brokerage. Towers has been involved with the development and construction of projects for commercial retail and restaurants as well as industrial warehouses throughout the region. He has extensive knowledge in all phases of development for build to suit projects including: Acquisitions, leasing, permitting, design and architectural/engineering selection, contractor selection and bid administration, and construction management as well as overseeing completion and follow up on punch list items until the tenant is fully operational. His experience with national companies and thorough knowledge of the market make him well qualified to handle commercial brokerage. Towers strives to provide the best services possible to each of his clients and aims to assist them with their real estate needs by paying careful attention to detail and always providing honest advice. He is qualified in both acquisitions and disposal of properties as well as tenant or landlord representation.

Towers has been married for 22 years to his college sweetheart and together they are raising 4 children here in the upstate. Their oldest will graduate from Clemson University in December of 2008 and the others attend the Wren Schools. He is on the Board of Directors for the Kiwanis Club of Greenville and actively participates in The Terrific Kids Program. He has also served as an Assistant Scout Master for a local troop and earned The Order of the Arrow (as an adult) while serving at Camp Old Indian a few summers ago and now serves as a Troop Committee Member.  He enjoys a number of outdoor activities including hiking, camping, hunting and fishing.


BRENT L. FREEMAN

Brent is a proud to be a Greenville, SC native and has watched the area change dramatically, especially downtown Greenville. He earned a B.A. degree in Economics/Business Administration from Furman University in 1979. After working four years in golf industry, he entered the real estate industry in 1984 going to work for US Shelter Corp, a publically traded real estate development and syndication firm. For the first three years there he worked in a real estate development division while he spent the last two years at US Shelter as an asset manager of problem/unprofitable properties where he gained valuable experience in identifying performing investment properties and dealing with lenders, repositioning properties and disposing of problem/unprofitable real estate.

In January of 1990, Brent entered First Union’s Corporate Banker training program in Charlotte, NC and after completing that program, went to work in First Union’s Real Estate Department in Greenville, SC making construction loans on income properties. In 1995, Brent purchased a real estate brokerage company with a partner in Greenville, SC. He worked as a real estate broker and managed the business.

In 1999, Brent sold his interest in the brokerage firm to his partner and went to work as a commercial real estate broker specializing in the office and investment markets with Colliers Keenan in Greenville, SC. He began surveying the Greenville, SC office market in 1999 and has been compiling and writing a Greenville, SC office market survey every six months since 1999. He earned the CCIM designation in 2003 and was Colliers Keenan’s top producing broker in 2003. While at Colliers Keenan his major transactions included representing First Citizens Bank in the aquisitision of the former Duke Power building, 60,000 SF, in downtown Greenville, SC for First Citizens’ Upstate headquarters, representing Marsh USA as the first office tenant in the first office building in the to-be-constructed RiverPlace
development in downtown Greenville, SC and representing Charter Communications in the acquisition of the site for its 80,000 SF call/service center on I-385.

Brent left Colliers Keenan in mid 2005 and briefly had his own brokerage firm before going to work with Bentley Commercial in Greenville, SC in the fall of 2007. There he specialized in the office and investment market and his major transactions included representing the buyer of Westowne Plaza, a 121,000 SF Bi-LO anchored shopping center and representing the McNair Law firm in the leasing of 15,000 SF of office space in Poinsett Plaza in downtown Greenville.

Brent joined Spectrum Commercial Properties in mid 2010 where he is specializing in the office and investment markets. His diverse experience in the real estate industry allows him to see the real estate transaction from all sides. He has experience representing major office tenants, representing landlords and real estate investment buyers. Brent also has experience repositioning and disposing of distressed real estate. By surveying the office market every six months since 1999, Brent brings a unique understanding and knowledge of the Greenville, SC office market to Spectrum.

Brent is very proud of his daughter, Mari Kate, and is an avid golfer and cyclist. He is a supporter of Furman University and is a Meals on Wheels volunteer driver and is on the Board of Gateway House, a halfway house for the mentally ill.
